We headed to the Wheel Inn in Rearsby for a local one as we are all based within a couple of miles of this establishment. Unfortunately, we were a man down due to illness.
The restaurant was very busy due to a local social committee meeting and we did feel that they might struggle as the kitchen in this place is tiny, after a recent takeover we did wonder if the kitchen would be enlarged.
Well, I can report that all was good, not fantastic but a really nice meal for the 4 members.
Usual poppadom’s and pickle tray to start, followed by Special Wheel Lamb Tawa, Lamb on the bone, Chicken Biryani and Chicken Makhni. Veg rice, Pilau Rice plain Naan and a Garlic and Coriander Naan
All in all an average to good meal on the night. I do know that the restaurant is trying very hard with the community of Rearsby to both make the restaurant welcoming and also supporting the village activities, so well done to them!
Thank you.
