To be honest this month’s restaurant was changed at the very last minute to another one on our list, we went to The 72 Bar & Restaurant on Brazil Street close to the Leicester City ground, the restaurant is a rooftop bar with parking on the roof.

The restaurant is very fresh and clean with everything well set out and excellent toilets!

On our arrival we were greeted by Tiago who talked us through the menu and the set up and how they offered matchday wraps as well as a well-stocked bar for the home games with many TV’s around the room.

We ordered drinks, the Peroni was ice cold, there are also Guinness 0% in cans and a vast range of other drinks.

We ordered Poppadom’s and a couple of pickle trays, ordering again as we usually have 10, these were very good with some great flavours.

Then we ordered our mains, 2x Lamb Tawa Madras, the Lamb was superb, but the sauce had some strange flavours, we have not had a Tawa like that before and we have had a lot, we also ordered Chicken Biryani and The 72 Signature mixed grill(for two) which was huge and full of meat. Can’t help feeling if they had got the Tawa sauce right it would have been a decent score, thoroughly recommend a visit though. The bill came to £120 for 5 which was very reasonable.
